Nice quality but not as thick as the originals. She’s not looking to bad considering she came from the scrap yard. Think a new seat is in her future.

Good luck with the project Don. That’s an aggressive project to be completed for the show. It should keep you busy for awhile.
Hows the sheet metal project coming along?

Removed a few items such as the skinnies with tri ribs and the rear paddle tires. Put a muffler on her and removed the straight pipe.
Just don’t have time or the cash to get her the way I want any time soon.
Hate to do it but it’s time. She’ll be on Craigslist within the next week or two as we have a busy couple of weeks lined up.

Looking good. Tri ribs look good on it. They make it steer easier too. Cannot wait to see it finished.

Got the variator/clutch issues fixed, electrical issues figured out. Now I can't get the secondary belt to stay on. Keeps jumping off the pulley on the transaxle. I had put a new JD belt on, so I tried the old one, but neither would stay on. Anyone ever had this issue?

How's the idler pulley and arm that comes down from above the transmission pulley. I know sometimes the shoulder bolt and arm get wear.

Yeah I have an extra one laying around. I ordered a new spring, so when that shows up I will swap out both.
