The Tallmans self levels very nicely and only required two coats were I usually do at least three. A small bit of dust here and there but it should polish out. Repainted the headlight buckets silver. Looking to put it back on tomorrow if the paint is hard enough. May need to put the tractor to work this week they say.
Will reinstall hood decals when I get a new pair.

I'd say it turned out pretty alright. I've got a hood and fender deck that need painted, I can drop them off.

You can drop them off I’ll gladly spray them for you.
You prep them, supply the paint and 5/10 gallons of kero to heat the garage and I’ll take care of it.
I burned 5 gallons between yesterday and today just doing the hood and it’s gotta be warm to spray the paint.
Pikeville has Tallmans or can get it for you
Then you can make me a deal on that 30 cart!!!!

Looks good to me. If you need a headlight lens i'm sure I could come up with one for you.

Looks great Kyle! One of these days I will finish my hood. I have been doin slot of side work and just haven' had time to do anything tractor related. I did fix a broken throttle cable on the 318 that was about it!

Working on the 214 it appears as though the governor linkage spring is to long, it binds up. Are there different length springs? Or maybe it's just stretched out, but it doesn't appear to be.

  19. Today, since it's supposed to pour here in a few hours, my stepson and I plan to start the fleet up, he will give them a drive around the yard to get the juices flowing. We are working on a JD aerator we picked up for $20, he is going to clean it up and see if we can flip it for a few more bucks. The aerator needs tires inflated, sand/paint some rust spots. One wheel is slightly bent. Might use it to break some thin ice in the gravel driveway before we begin working on it. Have a good day.

Boss have me a free day off yesterday, so spent half of it in the garage. Got the engine electrical all wired up, electric fuel pump mounted, wired and plumbed, and a few other odds and ends tied up. Nothing like a successful day in the garage!
