Ok, I'll bite. What is a favicon, and what is it used for?

These little sign make it easier to inform you about the opened tabs aso. To activate favicon you have to upload a .ico-file to your server - and the name must be "favicon.ico". Then it will work automatically

I have this site book marked, and it has one of these favicons already attached to the tab. It's an upper case JD in yellow, centered in an all green box.

Hello, Austin. and thank you for your reply. I'm using SeaMonkey and normally favicons are working well.

I looked at SeaMonkey, interesting.

Do you have another browser you could check in to see if it's just related to SeaMonkey? I would prefer not to download it but will if need be.
