How does the volt meter on the dash of my 212 or 300 work with no wires going to them?

      Hey Greg, the meters are inductive ( I think that's the word ) their should be a red wire going from the switch to the solenoid. The wire just clips to the back of the gauge on plastic tabs.

Well i took a pic of the one on the 212 an the 300 is the same. The wires in the background are for the fuel pump switch.

OK looks like the plastic tabs are broken off of both guages. I will send a wiring diagram.

Thanks Don from looking at the 300 though I didn't see any connections that weren't hooked up when I took it apart.

On the 300 the red wire going from the switch to the circuit breaker has two bends in it, my guess is that the short straight spot between the bends should be laid against the back of the gauge. They don't need bare wire to work if the gauge is good.

Would one from a 110 work on a 200 series ok if I wired it in?

It should as long as it is the same amp ratings, I think they are 15 amp on the 200 series not sure what the 100 series are.

i think the one from the 112 is a 15 amp ill check when i get a chance
