Just wondered what, if anything every one uses for a lift while working on your tractors
Once funds allow im going to harbor freight an buying a motor cycle table lift an just make it wide enough to fit a gt, i got the idea from another member who has done this
Floor jack and jackstands, no room for a lift although its a nice thought.
That's what I had in mind. There's a used on on CL for $50, in Elizabethtown, Pa
maybe if truck21 see's this he can post up pictures of his table set up
If you happen to make a deal on this lift let me know maybe when you pick it up you can swing by my place and see how I did mine.
I just looked at the lift you are talking about in E-town and that's not what I have. Mine is a lift table. When I get a chance I will get pix although it has a JD 200 sitting on it still.
Here is a picture I just found and you can see it in the background.
I'd be good with either. It's all about the price!
A couple of pictures of how I did my lift. Mine is 4ft wide and 7ft long.
I hear you about the price but I personally would hold out until I could go with the lift table. Much easier on the back.
Very nice. Where did you get the lift table?
Harbor freight, watch for the % off coupon and then watch for them to go on sale. If you don't get fliers from them go to the website.
Just got the harbor freight paper in the mail today. The same lift that I have discounted from $429.00 to $299.99 with coupon. That's about what I paid a few years ago. FYI
There's a few on CL I the $200-$300 range. I'll wait till after the holidays and see what I can find...
Check this out
Yeah I saw that before. I personally would want some kind of support when it's in the raised position.
That would be a must. That would be a heck of a fall!
