Picked this up today but not sure what I want to do with it. Give me your thoughts.
I like it, good score. Watch Elfman doesn’t sneak over and steel the hubcaps.
Is she running? Can you use parts for one of the others? Only going up in value.
Yeah she runs pretty good. Front caps I think will shine up nice but rears are not good one has a rust hole in it. Yeah I plan to use the pto parts for the 77 but other then that i'm not sure what I will do with it.
77 or 78 Pop found another 208 in Fall also. He’s also thinking about selling that one and it has an updated newer deck.
Find it up there near you?
York county. Elfman has already checked out the hub caps. Don't know if i want to fix it up a bit or part it. But you know how hard it is for me to part out old tractors.
By the way 78
Yes I’m with you on partingvthem out. Hold on to it and see where it leads you never know the wayward 200 you had found a home.
Ya know I think Chaser could use a 208 . It would look good in his collection and the daughters would love it.
I may sell the ags and put turfs on it and if I sell other parts I will try to keep it whole.
Hey Don if ya do decide to part it let me know. Thinking about swapping the Variator on the 210 to tje 208 set up.
I would have to come up with some sort of swap. I am running out of room and the hot rod is getting nervous!
Open to offers. Pm me with any.
Looks like it’s finally time to go all green Chaser!!
Trade ya for a 70...
Yeah, let me think about that ...... NO!!!!
Just go up and get it Chaser. Then at the Roooots show we can set them all together.
there is a home in ny for that hotrod
And in Oley for that cart that’s in the way.
That’s what friends are for.
See Chaser all of your friends are always willing to help you out.
Elf Junior did pretty well too yesterday, Thanks for taking him along Don. Went to purchase the snowblower for his '71 70 lawn tractor, only to find out that the idler bracket assembly wasn't included with the blower. Snowblower isn't much good without it. Anyway, after Caleb explained this to the seller, the seller not only gave the snowblower to Caleb for free, but threw in a complete mower deck for a 60 lawn tractor too!
I have determined that Caleb will be doing all of my wheeling and dealing from now on! Free works, not just for Caleb and I, but it seems to keep the wife content also whenever we bring more things home!
Wow that deck looks nice. Shame for the snowblower though but the price was definitely right. My snowblower is also missing the idler bracket.
