I've asked this before elsewhere but still don't have a clear understanding of the routing of throttle cable. I've been told under  motor/generator, and over top of it. I've been told cable goes down thru frame. Each way I route it it is not long enough to connect to lever on engine.  I've scourered the OM and SM for pics that show it. The only thing I've seen is in OM where the cable does run over top of M/G. I see views of the cable running down thru the frame with the variator rod but these views appear to be for a Kohler in a 110.  I have new proper length cables from JD. I've been told it does NOT run thru the grommeted hole with wiring harness. Thru frame route is too short.....under regulator and over top of M/G is asking for a short out. I'm thickheaded and need explicit instructions and pics. Help !   J.

Update.... After hours of searching for pictures......searching archives and manuals, looking at all possible routes, I concluded the only way to run the throttle cable WAS thru the grommeted hole between VR and Solenoid. This route lines the cable up perfect to pass over the top of the M/G as I viewed in the original OM and is away from all terminals with voltage. The replacement cable came from JD and believe you me there is no excess at all. No slack. But it works. I had a very enjoyable back woods road trip on it this afternoon ! J.
