I'm looking for some insight on if there are any seats from other models compatible for my 318. I'm 6'4" and weigh 270lbs and the weak springs on my 318 don't do justice for me. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Even if I have to make some modifications to make another seat fit.

The bike Spring will not work on the 318 the mounting is completely different than a RF.
Talk to Kyle 2 you could use a new style seat like on the GT 235 that has the rubber on the bottom like a bumper. Won't be original looking but not sure how you feel about that. Any thought on replacing the seat springs with new ones?
I've also seen valve type springs placed in between the sides or between the seat Spring metal.

I would be ok with not original. I'm not sure if new ones would be any different. If you could find a pic of the valve type springs that would be awesome

I have a seat spring setup off of a gt 245, haven't really looked at it. Kyle remind me about it when you come down and I'll send it along with you to see if he can use it.
