I cannot remove the shaft the double pulley mounts on. The manual shows a pin through the lower mount. Mine has no pin and evidence of ever having one. Both of the bearing are gone. It appears as though the inner race for the bearings is part of the shaft. Looking for ideas as to how to repair this.
Thanks

Today I fixed the deck. The double pulley came off easy as the ball bearing balls were gone. I was able to press the outer races out of the pulleys. The shaft was still stuck in the deck mounts for the assembly. I cut off the part of the shaft the pulleys mount on. Using a 1/4 inch drill bit I started drilling worked up to 9/16. The remaining part of the shaft is too hard to drill so I used my dremel tool to grind away the remaining part of the shaft. Use care not to grind the mounts. I pressed the new bearing assembly into the pulley assembly and then into the deck mounts that hold the pulley assembly. That was the easy part.
