2004 L130, 1983 210, 1988 420
I just tested the pto on my 210 and I'm getting 4.9 - 5 ohms. Is that too much? I think I read it's supposed to be between 2 and 4.
Guess I have a spare then. Someone had it hooked up directly to the battery with a cheap 2 wire switch and the wires were melted. I got the correct switch and a new Extreme pto, and when I'd kick in the pto the engine would shut down. After getting a wire diagram I found out ALL the safety switches were cut out but never completed the loop. Everything hooked up as it should be now, without the safety switches,On a 318 the ohm range is from 3.8 to 5 as a good PTO. The higher the ohms the less will be the amperage needed to activate. I would call it good.
