  1. I got the latest addition to my collection home this past Sunday. I went out to the Pittsburgh area to get a 1968 H3 140. It came with a blade, snow blower, rototiller, 48 inch deck and the 36?/38? deck and a ton of spare parts, wheel weights, 3 point hitch and two complete sets of tires. I posted that my collection had grown from 1 to 5 in June and you guys asked for pictures. I had a 1969 H1 140 with the smaller deck. I picked up a 1968 H1 with a nice 48 inch deck and a under mount blade with the PTO. I then picked up two out in Rochester New York. A 1973 H1 140 and a 1974 H3 140. They both run, but need some TLC. They came with 2 48 inch decks, a snowblower and a rototiller. Both had PTO's on them. So now I have 5. Here are some pictures. Very nice, the 2nd 140 looks like a nice machine! How far did you have to travel to pick these up?

  4. Most likely will fix and sell the 73 H1. Likely will sell or trade the spare decks for something I can use, same with the snowblower and extra tiller.

  5. I made two trips, the first one was from Elk River Minnesota to near Rochester New York and the second trip was from Elk River to just north of Pittsburgh PA.

Never have and probably never will drive that far for a unit (unless it’s a 63 RF)
Wish you were closer I’m sure we would be dealing.
    Good luck with them

  7. Never say never! I really did not mind the road trip all though two that close together is a bit much!

  11. Is it an H1 or H3? I have a 68 H3. I am considering re-engineing it with a 20 HP Briggs.
