Hey guys,

We've been doing updates through out the network and one of those updates is to convert to Xenforo, which we're now on.

I know change can be difficult, so please give us a chance before you make your mind up.

Most everything is basically the same, but if you have any questions for me please post to this thread and I will get them answered.

yea the ads kill my phone battery too so ill be only using the site from a computer now

We've disabled ads for now on the registered users as a goodwill gesture for the time being. It costs a fair amount to pay for servers, software, domains, maintaining the software etc.

So we offer ad free yearly account upgrades, or a browsing experience with a few ads. I'm not sure how you can truly give a comparison of ad = dead battery, when the ads you see currently are simply test ad units.

That said, we appreciate you being apart of the community and do listen to the community.

There is no fee to use this site, we just offer an ad free browsing experience is all.

I know you guys will get used to it and find this new software better and more intuitive.

OK, it took me a while to be able to post but I'm finally here. Let me just say that I agree that change SUCKS! That being said I believe that if you aren't moving forward you are going backwards so I'm willing to give it a go and hope that the powers that be are on the right track. Please don't throw rotten tomatoes at me for saying that I just believe we all need a fair shake and time to prove ourselves.

Hey I made it too Don. Like most of us I don't like change but I will give it a chance I like to think I can grow if needed. Took me a little bit to find my pics and like most things the first time is the hardest.
It is still dropping me from being logged in and I have to go back and put my password back in

Well, I guess it's my turn to voice my opinion huh? At first, I was overwhelmed by the change, and then frustrated that I couldn't get logged in. However, Admin helped me get that all straightened out and things seem to be working better now.

I'm willing to give it a try and see things through. We've put too much work into this site to give up now, and I really believe navigation will become easier once you all get used to things. It really isn't that much different then before. As a staff member, I'll work with the Admin as much as I can to help any of you out with troubles or problems, however keep in mind that I'm limited on what I can do.

We built this site as a team, and I'm really hoping we can stay together and keep on making this site popular. If some of you aren't comfortable anymore and feel that you need to go elsewhere, then by all means do what you have to do, but please know that you will be missed.

While I'm at it, I want to give you all a big THANK YOU for all of your posts, opinions, and input throughout the past couple years. When this site was started, none of us were really sure how things were going to turnout, but after getting a few threads and some really good information posted, I think we made JD Fanatics very successful, not meaning financially, but as a very good source of information and resources. Thanks to all of you who have contributed! Well done.
