New to the Green Life! Just purchased a 1984 212. She is a bit rough cosmetically, but runs well and is getting the job done cutting the lawn. She also has a blade for the front for the winter.

I’m about 20 miles west of Philadelphia near Valley Forge. I’m keeping my eyes open on Craigslist and FB marketplace for a 46” deck that is in better shape as mine has a few holes and one of the deck wheel mounts is broken. Might pick up a parts tractor if I can find one with a good deck.

Growing up I had a 70’s vintage Sears ST-16 Suburban that I made a lot of money with cutting grass and plowing driveways around the neighborhood. Had just about anything you could find to hang off a three point hitch. Hope to do the same with the 212 over time.

Looking forward to reading about everyone’s adventures with the tractors!

Thank you for the welcome. I look forward to hearing about everyone’s projects.

Here are a few more photos that the seller provided before I had a chance to see it.

I have the side covers and grill, but it appears that I may need to straighten out the front grill supports before I can reinstall them.
