So a few of you guys have seen it in person it's not that bad but I pulled the motor tonight to find the oil leak an then the rear tin jumped off. So as long as it wants to be apart I'm going to repaint an repair a few thing since i haven it apart.

Nope I'm going to leave them just cause it bugs you lol. Btw the 16hp is a lot heavier then the 8hp off the patio.

That's how it starts then you get carried away and it becomes a treasured piece. That's what happened to my 112 "touch up" . Good luck with it Greg.

I have a feeling ill keep it apart until i get the lines from you i think this an the cub will get switched so i can get this up on jack stands an out of the way to work on it.

Well today after work it got a very needed bath an the last one is from when i just pushed it into the garage.

Today I'm hopefully going to get a stand set up so I can slowly start prepping the motor for a tear down an more cleaning to get it ready to rebuild an ill photo document the tear down to help with the rebuild. I do have one question are the motors an frames gloss black or more of a flat black? The reason for asking I'm seeing a lot of gloss paint on the motor an the frame.

I think originally Greg, the frame was a gloss black and the motor was a flat black. I however, like to see gloss black on both, as I'm not a flat finish (of any color) kind of guy. Here are pictures of a 212 that I refurbished a few years ago for a guy that I used to work with, and although you can't see it, I painted the motor gloss black and the frame gloss black and I think it looked decent.

I like the look of gloss myself an it's easier to clean up then flat impo. Avery an I are taking a lunch break then she'll get a nap while I work to get a stand for the motor set up.

The 208 was more of satin black on the frame and engine.  Preference?

Well I'm still.a long ways from paint but thought I would get a jump start on buying it when I have the extra money. The motor made its way to the stand today for tear down after its cleaned up a lot.

Ok so tonight I'm finally in from digging out the 300, a few things I have ran into that I forgot about. Like all the rust behind the tower an how rough the sides are. An does anybody know how to hook up the other lines to the main valve?

Well last week into this week the stomach bug hit our house hard I finally have strength to do stuff so I'll wander out to the garage soon now that Avery is finally asleep an I have dinner in the crock pot. I'm in tight quarters in the garage as you'll see when I post pictures up I have 5 tractors in there for now, my cub an the 112 frame are the only two outside.
