I mostly just have family, tractor and slot car friends so I don't get to much other garbage.
You can open up your own account, and only post what you want, if anything. I don't post much of anything on my account. Most of the stuff on my personal page are from friends tagging me on photos or their posts. I'll let most of those posts go for about a week, and then go to my page and hide it so it's not viewable anymore.
That sounds like what I would do . It would be nice to find another venue other than E-Bay and Craigslist
I got most of them put away. I have three that I couldn't get in. Didn't have much time this year to puts around with the hobby due to work keeping me busy all year. Planning on giving it he** next year though!! No, no progress on the RJ. Wanted to every time I walked past it, but just couldn't find the time. About the only thing I was able to accomplish this year was, travel to South Virginia for another 60 lawn tractor with a freshly rebuilt motor. That's about my only excitement.
After you find the John Deere auction site, you'll consider eBay and Craigslist a thing of the past. There is a yard sale and Facebook version of Craigslist that I check out frequently too. I never thought that I would be soliciting Facebook, but here I am. Go figure!!
I know a guy near you who is willing to play with tractors with you anytime. JUST SAYIN!
Glad your still involved was worried you would sell and get out of the hobby.
At least you gained another herd member in that trip.
Any pics of it I’d love to see it.
Careful Don now that you have open space in the garage.
I know Don, I know. I haven't even found time to talk to Craig lately, and he lives across the alleyway!
I played in the garage today upgrading the lighting in the blast cabinet. Felt good!
Thought about giving up the hobby quite a few times this year, but just can't bring myself to do it. I just keep thinking about all of the time that I have spent finding everything, and know that I'll probably never find it all again if I get rid of it. I know you aren't supposed to look back after you walk away from something, but when you've been at it for as many years as I have, it's hard to know anything else but tractors.
No, no pictures of it yet. It's quite the diamond in the rough so to speak. The motor was the only thing done to it and none of the rest of the tractor was touched.
At least it’s a running unit and solid.
You should put your Elfman picture back on with your name
By the way Troy, isn't it time to put an avatar back up?
Just had the same thought Don!!
I have been fighting the Facebook fad as well... really don't want to do it, bit its, getting tuff with everyone going to facebook pages instead of websites.
You mean to tell me i had something you didn't that was for a john deere attachment. Troy i'm truly shocked. Troy there are some installation instructions and some good pictures in your 43 blade manual for the manual angling kit.
Welcome back, nice to see your face again.
Now it looks complete!!
Nice to have you back Troy.
I'm just glad he didn't use the photo I saw of him on fb.
