K66 for X350

608 Views 4 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Chaser
Just joined, and just had my used 340hr X350 Transmission die within 2hrs of using it. Poking around it looks like the K66 is best replacement and upgrade to make the X350 stronger. Wondering if there are any good threads to follow with the conversion, or someone who's done it who is willing to guide a person through the project.

There used to be a guy that sold a conversion kit, transaxle and all. But I think he went out of business. I got parts from him and put a K66 in my X320 a couple years ago. The biggest thing is the linkage. If I still have my instructions I can scan them and send them to you.

Yeah that would Be EPIC! That's all I really need, I found an axle and I can piece it all together.

Did you move the top pulley over or did the change in wheel size compensate everything? Not trying to make the mower slower its slow enough lol.
