Found the site trying to determine the year of my recently acquired 140 H1.

Ya, not your run of the mill H1. Someone was trying to create something "different".
Thankfully they didn't screw things up too badly.

A little closer to "normal".
Took a front axle off one of my 110 parts tractors, as well as the fender deck.
Had to get a little creative, but I think she'l fly.

The same day I acquired this.

Not pristine, but complete, save a battery.

So I went looking at a parts tractor/donor for a trans-axle and many other necessary items for the 140 up at the beginning of this thread. In talking with the gentleman, he disclosed he had a complete 140 H3 he was going to put on the market soon.
So after doing some somersaults (in my head) I decided it made no sense to spend a bunch of money and time, and still end up wanting an H3, when I could spend a few hundred more dollars and come home with this.

After cleaning out the gas tank and fuel bowl, changing oil in the engine and trans, removing the rusty crappy seat, doing a little body work on the seat pan, and installing a "new" seat, she looks like this;
