John Deere 320 Lawn & Garden Tractor Brake Parts

I have a 1996 John Deere 320 Lawn and Garden Tractor and found it at an estate sale. It was in great shape and kept in a garage/barn but would not run. I was able to rebuild the carburator and clean/update the fuel line and got it running very quickly. Its a strong running and great garden tractor.
The only problem is that the brakes are wore out and I am having a heck of a time finding the brake shoe replacements. I have found the drum and other parts but the shoes are like unicorns.
I have contacted our local John Deere parts dealer and he said they were obsolete and I would have to get after market or used ones.
And I am still having a heck of a time finding them.

Does anyone know of a great source for this type of part? Many of the online JD Parts sites skip that particular part or they list the part but there is no way to purchase or add to cart.

Would appreciate a point in the right direction.

Thanks, Ron

l posted similar issue concerning my JD 400 garden tractor brakes-- or lack of--- same dead-end. So many old-time products are gone now because my belief is that they were too good-- they lasted too long and there were not enough returning customers. Maybe JD thinks like that. l recently purchased my ancient 400(built in 1975) with the bad brakes for the express purpose of putting a Little Buck loader on it. My needs for lifting are minimal-- just cleaning up and carrying stuff. The hour meter was replaced but l'd guess from the engine smoke that there are 1500-2000 hrs on the tractor . l paid $1900 for the tractor & $2300 for the loader (w/ shppng). So that's $4200 for a tractor that MIGHT do good enough--- so you don't need to spend $20K on a 1025(if you're able to afford to)--- catch my drift. C'mon man-- $25--$50 brake pads...Somebody has to still be making them somewhere.
