Hi

I am very new to older tractors. My wifes father passed away and I was given a John Deere 140. I have a zero turn for lawn so I thought it would be awesome to get it running and use it for snow blowing. I don't know if its possible with this tractor. My question would be if its possible to add a snow blower to this tractor and if so which one? will it work good? I am able to search marketplace and craigslist for blowers if I knew what I was looking for. please see my photos. Thanks for any help or imput!

Looks good welcome to the sight.
First rule is pics and you already took care of that.
The 140 uses the model 49 snow blower which I am also looking for.
They seem to be scarce right now.
Noticed there are no hydraulic ports on front were the two plugs are.
If you want a snow blower you'll need these to raise and lower the blower.
They are available thru avenue's like Ebay and such .
Yours is an H1 which means only one handle on the left side.An H3 is just that
it has three handles and two sets of ports in front
Great units. Getting it running should be pretty straight forward.
