Hi there,

I am looking at a JD lawn mower. The SN is T2316 008775 M.

The decals say 110 and the engine is an 8hp Kohler. However, if I read tag correctly, is this a 112 model ? Perhaps the engine was changed at one time?

Any help greatly appreciated.

According to the serial number breakdown. It’s a 67 112. Are the running boards bolted on or welded on? 67 was the only year they were welded on.

to the running board bracket or to the side of the housing? Thanks

To the side of the frame. As said above, it's a 1967 112. You need to find a 10hp HH100 Tecumseh motor if you want to make it original.
