I think she is doing great! Thank you for asking. My wife is a little more concerned, but that’s why she leaves the driver training to me. 🙂
Son passed on his first try, older daughter punted a barrel during the parallel parking part of her first test, but passed a week later. Hopefully youngest will continue the success sequence. 🤞
I enjoy the time in the car with the kids during the practice driving hours. Captive audience and no phone distractions…

I grew up in the sticks of NW PA, so teaching my girls to drive here in Berks county will be a bit stressful!!!

I hear you there @Chaser! I grew up on a garden tractor since before I could reach the pedals. My kids not so much.

I’ve started them all in the high school parking lot then moved on to the neighborhood streets. Little bit at a time. Lots of time in the evening when there is less traffic with a bit of highway driving worked in over time. My goal is that by the time they take their test I’ll be comfortable enough with their skills to sleep in the back seat while they drive.

I still take the wheel when we are going places as a family, but I’m confident that they can take that seat at any time. 😎

I recall teaching my daughter to drive. She did very well, passed her test first try. She’ll be turning 20 in two weeks on Valentine’s Day… Where does the time go?

Good morning everyone! How is everyone getting along in/from the storm? We have 1/4” of ice every where. Some of my trees didn’t fare to well.
Consumers Energy has 152,000 customers out of power! Thankfully we were only out for 4 hours last night.

Well power went back out about an hour ago.
The wind is picking up and I have seen a couple already stressed limbs snap off. 😞

I did manage to start my 212 last Sunday. Let her run for a bit to ensure the battery was charged up.
I was thinking tonight that at this rate it won’t be long before I need to put the deck on. Really need to get that service done I bought the supplies for back in December, but then again I’ve only put 15 minutes on her clock since then… 🤷🏼‍♂️
