Anyone have any success rebuilding one of he Kohler fuel pumps for the 200’a or 300’s ? Or at least the plastic ones ?

Or has anyone replaced the mechanical one with a electric one ? Something like what is one a 400?

I have done and been successful at both. I have to say I prefer a 2-5 psi electric pump.

I have rebuild 2 or 3 of the Kohler pumps they are easy to rebuild I have bought 1 plastic one it is way better to rebuild the metal ones instead.

I rebuilt 2.I bought the rebuild kits for the original pumps from isavetractors. As far as i know they are the only ones that have them.Take them apart clean everything real well and put the rebuild parts in and reassemble.Very easy to do, and they work afterwards.
