Getting to be that time of year when I think it would be nice to have a bagger on my 212. Does anyone have experience with these setups? Do you need a power flow deck to make them work? Is a tow behind trailer with a separate power unit a better option?

Hello sir, I had a 210 with power flow bagger before I went to the 318. Worked great. Not sure how it would go without the power flow. I actually had a Trac vac for awhile and it worked well also. Only reason I didn't keep it is it took up alot of space when not in use.

My only experience with a bagger was on a LA 145. In my opinion it was way more messing around than it was worth. Spent more time dumping the stupid thing than mowing/mulching.

I may have found a better solution!

One of my coworkers had abandined a lawn sweeper by our dumpster over the summer. No basket in sight. I had grabbed the drop bar off of it for a project (to be determined) but left the rest of it there.

So yesterday I came up with the idea to use a tarp as a basket. This works slick! No chute to clog. No bags to empty and When it gets full I just kick the leaves off into the mulch pile.
Very happy camper!
