I didn't want to do a complete tear down and sand the frame bare, so I went with textured black, I think it looks good. Then did the fenders. It does still have the small axle. We've been debating between hats for t-shirts, prob end up getting both...
I'm torn about selling the hot rod. I know its time, but part of me hates to see it go.

Felt the same way when I sold mine but used the money to pay off the house.
I miss my motorcycle more than the hot rod.
Did you repaint the hood also.
Looks like a completely different piece.
I hope it does well for you

Nope, did not paint the hood, it's just dusty!
We just bought a camper, so it really isn't looking good for the hot rod.

The local clubs just set the weight at 1050. 850 for youth
