While putting the deck back on the 216 today I noticed the brass tag on the deck. The tractor is a 79, so I'd say it ain't the original deck!

It's a model 47 deck, and since the brass tags were only used up until 1968, I'd say you would be correct in your thinking. Was most likely the deck for a 140.
