Well guys after years of a down hill battle I've finally decided to quit drinking I'll use that money towards my tractors instead. Between the epilepsy an my health I think it's a good choice to make that way I can focus on spending time with Avery an my wife. I might end up smoking again for a bit but at least that's easy enough for me to quit I hope it doesn't end up with that but time will tell.

I think it's the best choice an one step closer to some personal goals I have set that I hope to have achieved be the end of the year. No these aren't resolutions they are goals I'm slowly working towards for a better an more simple life by the time I reach the bottom of my list.

Good luck. I still enjoy having a beer but have to say I also have cut back from having some every day when I get home. Now its basiccally Friday night with dinner and maybe saturday other than that not much at all.

I can't quit either. I snuss, spit free dipping. I also smoke two packs a day. I'm supposed to start on patches soon but they freak me out. I was told I couldn't have a single smoke when I was on them and I know I'm going to slip up at least once. I always do. I don't want to have a heart attack as a consequence.

Troy, Cut back to bandits. They have less nicotine in them,and stop getting bandits,then chew lots of gum. That worked for me. I dipped for 10 yrs. Now the smell of the stuff makes me want to toss my cookies.

I try to be very cautious when talking to people, as I know Copenhagen breath is really nasty smelling, so I try to keep somewhat of a distance between me and the person I'm talking to. Sorry buddy!!

When I quit I used tootsie rolls in place an that helped but I went through a 5lb bag a day then had to slowly cut back on them.

you still get the sensation of wanting something in your lip. i don't think that ever goes away
