[PA212]

So the sale of the Rescue 212 included the tire chains that I had for my runner. Now I'm hunting for options for replacements.

One option I'm considering are "SoftClaw" rubber tire chains:

Does anyone have any experience with these? A gentleman in the neighborhood has them on his newer compact, but I think it may be a 4x4 so I don't know that it is a good comparison for my 212.

Have not still a believer in the old style metal. You saw the new tires
I am trying without chains this year. I do have chains if needed for it.

I did Kyle! Nice young man that lives about 15 minutes north of Don had a set of chains and off brand wheel weights. They will do what I need to do.

I ended up putting the chains on a second set of tires from my parts tractor. Still have to get them on the tractor. Maybe tomorrow. I’m glad that I had the extra set as putting them on while the tires were on the tractor would have been nearly impossible as they are very tight.

Best part of the day was stopping to see Don after I picked up the chains and weights. He had “the missing link” for my 43 blade. He even blasted it in his cabinet for me! I also got to see his latest 200 series project and the 318 that you and others have been helping with. I was very impressed.

And of course we had to have a photo for proof.
