Awfully quiet around here the last few days. Are we all too busy to play with our toys lately?

Yes, I have been. But did get some garage time this evening.

Yes I know I've been and they are patiently awaiting some time this weekend. The RF112 had the starter generator from one of the other Herd members known as the Junk Yard Dog. Since the 112's was rebuilt and the tractor didn't run I removed it. Now that it is running again I wanted to put them back where they belonged since the pulleys are a little different. I picked the rebuilt unit up Thursday afternoon and am hopeful that Saturday afternoon or Sunday will allow quality time to do this and try and fine tune the carb also.
I do agree and am amazed how quiet it got on here since the change had set off a flurry of activity and I thought it was great!
Any work to your newest member to the herd Don?

No Kyle life keeps getting in the way. When I do get a little time it just isn't enough to get the garage warmed up and the concrete floor will give you cold feet right quick. Like you I'm hoping to get out there this weekend.

Yes I understand the coldness my feet were frozen last weekend and it's gonna be colder this weekend. I'm gonna have to run the torpedo heater as much as I hate the smell it just really is the only way to shed the dampness and be able to enjoy being out there. I have an electric unit that works ok but when it's cold like this it takes until I'm ready to come in before it even resembles warm.

I have a propane torpedo heater so no oder.

Do you just use your grill tank for that? I've thought about changing as mine has problems.

Yeah I can but I have several tanks. If you go that route look into one with auto ignition then you can use a thermostat. I have to manually ignite mine.

Yes I'm home actually laying in bed lol, I haven't had much shop time an i need to get a propane tank filled so I have a back up for heat. I'm trying to get things in order for my trip down that way next Saturday but I'm still fighting with my trailer lights. An trying to find a garage to get it into to check the wiring over.

9 out of 10 times you will find light issues are a ground problem. One of the best tools I've ever bought was my power probe. Makes wiring problems much more tolerable.

I have a power probe as well I love it, I'm still upgrading to the leds to make the trailer more visable for me while towing an to other cars on the road.

Anybody else find with propan or kerosene heaters everything gets condensation on it?

I haven't had any problems with that so far

I used to use a kerosene torpedo and everything metal would end up cover with condensation

Because of the quick rate that your heating everything up it does dissipate after a bit when everything else warms up.
How'd the meeting for the show go Don?

Went well, we have one every month. Got a lot going on now we need tractors and people to attend. So help us out with that ole buddy. If you know some people that would want show flyers send me an address and I will send however many you think you need.

Im with ya on that kyle im sick of trying to heat the garage id rather work outside under the canopy while enjoying an adult beverage, ive plowed enough to say i had fun im good now.
