The deck on the 212 that I purchased recently appears to be in need of adjustment. At times it seems as if the blades are slowing down, for lack of a better way of describing it. When the PTO (electric) is first engaged and the engine is throttled up the mower sounds great and seems to cut well. If I get into heavier grass - or if I hit a high spot and the blades scalp - the blades seem to slow down and the cut quality goes down. The engine does not seem to be being bogged down at the same time.

My initial thought is that I either need to replace and/or tighten a belt. Not sure if I should start with the main PTO belt, the deck belt or both. Any thoughts?
