Well guess what I did last night boys.
Went and brought home a 316! Not sure of the year yet, but its got an Onan. I'll get better pics this evening.
Pretty excited, been wanting one of these for a while.

Couple minor upgrades, since the hood had a crack I took the hood from the 214 and since I like the old style decals I put a pair of them on. And replaced the seat edge trim.

Had to reply to this one...

My Dad has a 1988 316 that he bought new. (I think 88) Anyway, we’ve snow plowed (snow higher than hood one year), rototilled, cut acres of grass, moved trailers around the yard, hauled material and towed broken tractors home with it. Such a good tractor. Still have it today, still works just as hard. Runs just as good (always maintained). Only problem we ever had was the little ears cracking on the frame by the trans axle. Welded them when it happened and haven’t had an issue since.

Moral of the story...can’t go wrong with a 316.

Congrats on the nice find and getting your 316. It's a great feelin' when you're able to get one that you've been wanting for a long time. It should have you humming and singing the lyrics to that old rock song, 'You're 16, You're Beautiful, and You're Mine'. And real soon you'll be Free. Are you getting excited yet? !!! There will be a lot more seat time coming up on the new Gator and Your Sweet 16! Let the Countdown Roll !!! :)(y)
Say Chaser! Congratulations are in order today for your Retirement! Pop some corks! Have a Great Day with family and friends! Enjoy lots of seat time on your new Gator and on your Sweet 16! :)(y)!!!!!!!!

How did you remove the decal? I have a 214 I bought this past winter but the seller liked the hood and kept it for his 210 and he put the 210 hood on the 214 before he sold it.

It should be petty except it bugs me and I refer to it as my 214 and my wife and kids look at me like I’m senile because it says 210. It’s got a couple minor scratches that should be filled and then repainted once I remove the stickers.

Hit it with a heat gun quick and it peeled right off.

Found these hub caps while cleaning out the shed the other day. Not JD, but that's ok. Now I need to get the wheel weights from my Oleyian brother.
