Looks good brother, decks are out there. Craig had set me up with a gent that had one and in really good shape.
Think we are all getting older and digging the hydro makes things easier montra!!!

Nice ride Chaser. I didn’t know that you could get a deck that narrow on a 300 series. Is the cut even as wide as the tire tracks?

My one relative had a 318 with a 38" deck, it was purchased that way for mowing in a cemetery. If the rear wheels are set in the narrow position, the cut is just inside the tire tracks.

Yeah the deck is about the same width as the rear tires.

Congrats on the nice find and getting your 316. It's a great feelin' when you're able to get one that you've been wanting for a long time. It should have you humming and singing the lyrics to that old rock song, 'You're 16, You're Beautiful, and You're Mine'. And real soon you'll be Free. Are you getting excited yet? !!! That is a good tune. Believe it or not my truck is usually tuned to 60's gold on Serious XM.

Hey Chaser, we've got more in common besides loving John Deeres! I have 60's gold tuned in on Sirius XM all the time in my Chevy Equinox. Glad you recognized the tune, seemed to fit with your new acquisition of the 316.
