I had the 216 out today and ended up pulling the kids around in a dump cart. Noticed that my transaxle makes some howling noise. Quick Google search seams to show this is tyical. What you guys thoughts/comments?

Yup I have a few that are winey as well even with new oil in them. There noisier when the variable speed is forward.

Yea it's normal all the peerless trans that I have or have had whine

Ditto on everything they said. If you find a perfectly quiet one WORRY it's probably getting ready to explode.
