So after mowing for over an hour this morning and having the PTO on and off a few times during that period I shut the deck off and got off the tractor to open the gate. Got back on the tractor, flipped the switch and nothing. Letting her cool down for a bit before I start trouble shooting. On a quick look under the hood the plug on the switch looks okay. Have to pull the side panels next to start looking for broken wires I guess.

Anyone have suggestions on where to start/how to test?

I believe there is a circuit breaker for the PTO. If there is power there after it has cooled off and it functions, I’d start with a new one. After that, the potting in the PTO could be failing. Quick shot from the hip anyways… not sure how old those parts are on your machine.

Well, after sitting for a few hours the gremlins must have decided to find someone else to haunt and she worked fine.

I’ll have to investigate the circuit breaker @MiniHomesteader. My parts machine may have one.

The seat switch seems to work as it should @Chaser, but then again the PTO switch did too until today. 🤷🏼‍♂️
