So the transaxle that I put in the rescue tractor from the parts 216 has a lot of oil showing on the wheel. How tough is it to replace an axle seal on a 200 series transaxle? Looking through my repair manual it doesn’t look too hard, but it mentions a “special seal installation tool” of some sort (working from memory hear). Any insight from the experts?

Very easy Dave you got this. Special tool is a small hammer and a drift punch.

I hadn’t planned on going Don. I’ve never been. I may stop by the Threshermen’s reunion in Kinzers, but I’m not even sure about that as we take our older daughter to college on Sunday so probably will need to stay close to home.

After you have done one axle seal you’ll find out how
easy it really is and won’t believe you worried about it.
Usually an hour or so and your done . Relax you e got it.
