Hello guys, new on here myself. I was hoping I could get some help I bought this mower deck and can’t find a diagram.
attachedis The serial number and the deck pulley .

Goes on a 1974 John Deere 400, after some research I ended up finding the belt diagram. Now I’m stuck, the two pullys in the middle to the left don’t move, I can’t get the belt in between. I’m assuming I have to take off one of the pullys, question is, which one

Yeah those look pretty close! Maybe you can just loosen both of them instead of taking one off.

Welcome to JDFANATICS!!
I would take the bolt out of the idler pulley, way easier than pulling the spindle pulley.
My $0.02.
