1969 patio 140

Went to an auction yesterday and this 140 followed me home. Wasn't looking to buy anything but the price was right. It's actually a patio model that was repainted green at one time. Needs a little work but well worth it.

Not sure looks like hood was replaced. Didn't get to look at it real close.

Yes Don, I think the one 200 series hood and the 300 series hood are in decent shape. I'll check them out hopefully today and post some pictures

Well i got the 140 running sunday night. it was running rough when i initialy got it started so i adjusted the carb and now it runs great. this had me puzzled for a short time. everything checked out it should've started. I ran an extra baterry cable from battery to starter and it cranked over. After that it cranked on its own. I'm guessing that the starter was jammed or was at a dead spot. The neiborhood elf heard it running and came over and looked it over with me.I think we have everything figured out.
