I just got a 1968 112 and I was doing some work on it today and when i got it I knew it had no spark plug so i took off the head to clean the cylinder and I found

when I got it I knew it needed

New hood
New seat
New belts

today I found it needs

Needs a new Head (the spark plug hole was drilled out????)
Needs new hydraulic hoses
Needs new wiring harness
Needs head gasket
(I dont know if it has spark or not)

now my question is should I rebuild the Tecumseh (1), put a new engine in it(2),sell tractor as is(3)(if you think I should sell it how much should I ask?),use as parts tractor(4) Or some other option??

I'd say it depends what your plans for it are? Restoration, yard work, ect. With a hydraulic lift I'd fix it and use it.

ditto, heli coil in spark plug hole unless its completely ruined. a machine shop could easily help with that for you. A shame to see it thrown to the side because somebody else's butchery
